Launceston's Kerry Holloway (47 points) and Rob Dowling (44) played supreme golf to ensure the victory.
The competition was held in excellent spirit, and an encouraging 109 players attended the final leg at Launceston Golf Club which witnessed fine weather, excellent course conditions and a barbeque provided by the hosts.
Other veterans events have been held with Les Honess (44) and Roger Reid (38) leading the way at Thirlstane while at Seabrook, M George (44) won from K Young and R Lakeland (both 42).

Mowbray hosted the Tasmanian Senior Men's Amateur, an Australians Senior order of merit event.
Held over 54 holes, Victorian Gordon Claney shot a fine two-under-par final round of 69 to prevail by one stroke over local hope Mike Leedham.
The Division 1 net winner was Garry Harper by a healthy margin over Robert Watson while Murray Lethborg won Division 2 gross and net from Glen Warmisham and Doug Knowles respectively.
Robbie Berne, of Prospect Vale, has won selection to represent Australia in the Senior Order Of Merit team to take on Australian Defence Force Golf Association at the Peninsula-Kingswood Golf Club in March.
Prospect Vale was due to hold the final round of their club championships on Saturday.

Prospect Vale are having a pro-am on Thursday, February 20, and professional Bryce Gorham advises that the VW Scramble for ladies will be on March 6 and is the final chance to qualify for the state final.
Launceston Golf Club are hosting their pro-am on Friday, February 21 in conjunction with a super sixes event for both professionals and amateurs.
Upcoming events include Deloraine Farmers Day on March 5, North East Open hosted by Bridport and Scottsdale on March 7 and 8 and Greens Beach are holding a mixed foursome on March 14 and 15.
