Tasmania Police have seized a 'signifcant' amount of ICE from a passenger at Launceston Airport on January 14.

According to police, they were conducting screenings with Tasmania Police Drug Dog Detection Unit dog PD Fang, when they discovered the illicit substance on a female passenger from a Melbourne flight.
In other news:
PD Fang discovered 112g of methylamphetamine, also known as ICE, on the person.
A 25-year-old female from Newnham has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance, as well as other drug related offences.
She was bailed and is to appear in court on March 4.
Detective Senior Sergeant Matthew Shea of the Northern Drug Investigation Services said "seizures such as this significantly impact the availability and distribution of methlyamphetamine of 'ICE' within the community."
