A man who has six offences under the Road Safety Act has been given his second suspended sentence.

Jason Keith Thomas, 29, pleaded guilty to driving with methamphetamine and amphetamine in his system.
While Thomas was not driving under the influence of the drug, it was detected through a blood test.

Magistrate Simon Brown said this sort of behaviour was "no longer acceptable".
"You simply cannot drive with drugs in your body," he said.
It was Thomas' second wholly suspended sentence, however, Mr Brown said he had not re-offended for "sometime". He said it was a "highly unusual" sentence because of Thomas' record.
"If you were to again breach the Road Safety Act, I cannot see any way the court wouldn't activate those suspended sentences and send you to jail," he said.
He was sentenced to three months' jail, wholly suspended, disqualified from driving for a further nine months and fined $1000.
