Starting with two games on Thursday night, the competition will ignite on Saturday and Sunday with eight round robin matches leading into the decider at 4pm on Sunday.
Riverside has dominated the shortest format in recent years to make the past four finals, while Launceston broke through for its first T20 title last year.
However, it's league heavyweights Westbury and South Launceston who loom as favourites to reach this year's final after both qualified for 50-over semi-finals in the Greater Northern Cup.
Mowbray will return to the T20 stage after missing last year's tournament, with second-grade outfit George Town electing not to field a side.
