Husband-and-wife team Ben and Roxie Holden swept all before them at the Legana Tennis Club Mixed Open Doubles Championship on Sunday.
Fifteen teams representing clubs ranging from Deloraine, Longford and George Town took to the venerable clay courts in Fulton Street but honours were travelling only as far as the Riverside Tennis Club with the Holdens running on all cylinders.
Legana stalwart Tony Phillips and rising Riverside junior Arwen Koesmapahlawan combined experience with up-and-coming talent to win a tough semi-final 6-4 against Ali Lapham and Chris Cornes.
