Having previously played in Tasmania in 2018 against North Melbourne at Kingston's Twin Ovals, the Demons' return is pencilled in for a 7.40pm start on Friday, March 6, and also marks the first AFL showing on the upgraded surface.
The Twin Ovals will also return to hosting duties in the three-week warm-up as they see the Kangaroos take on Sydney Swans three days later on Monday, March 9, at 1.40pm.

Each club is set to play two matches throughout the competition, with every team rostered in the final week of play from March 6-9 to ensure equal rest before round one of the home-and-away season.
New venues Whyalla and Lathlain will get their first taste of pre-season football while regional grounds Wagga Wagga, Wangaratta, Colac and Morwell see the country's best again.
Hawthorn's other fixture, the competition's opener against St Kilda on February 20, sees AFL-level football return to the Saints' home ground, Moorabbin, for the first time since 1992.
Played out across 19 days, the event has been renamed the Marsh Community Series following JLT's merge.
