This weekend is the band's Till the Wheels Fall Off festival where they will debut two Tassie beers. A St Helens lager and a Scamander pale ale has been created with the help of Moo Brew.
Rhythm guitarist Patrick Marshall said the band had always wanted to create a beer, with the result turning out "really good".
"They're both pretty easy drinking beers. Great for a festival and the kind of beer that we'd love to drink ourselves," he said.
Working with Dave Macgill from Moo Brew, the band tasted a few beers to get an idea of what they would like to produce.
"They're pretty unique bees. They all have Tassie ingredients in them and they're all close to home," Mr Macgill said.
"We were always pretty keen to make sure that we didn't just go out and brew the beer without the input from the guys from Luca Brasi. It's easy for a brewer to go ahead and brew the beer and it not be a true collaboration."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The beer has been a true local collaboration, with the can's art work being designed by Josh Pringle.
He has worked with the band designing merch for the band since they met in college, but has been designed art for a beer can.
"To design the label was great, because I've always wanted to do that," he said.
"I was really happy to have that kind of opportunity because I definitely admire beer labels a lot."
Everyone said they had really enjoyed the collaboration and were excited to see festival goers reactions to it.
Till the Wheels Fall Off will be held at the Launceston Workers Club from Friday until Sunday.
