A 33-year-old Mowbray man has become the third person to be charged with the alleged murder of Billy Ray Waters.

Christopher Lee Brown appeared in after-hours court in Launceston on Monday, after two 17-year-old boys were charged with murder on Sunday.
Mr Brown was remanded in custody and will reappear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 11.30am on Tuesday.
He did not enter a plea.

Detective acting Inspector Craig Fox thanked the public for their assistance in the investigation.
"A body located at Mayfield on Friday has not yet been formally identified, but it is believed to be Billy," Detective acting Inspector Fox said.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with Billy's family and loved ones at this difficult time," he said.
Mr Waters, 19, was last seen alive on August 4, with his disappearance reported to police on August 11.
