Launceston's Mia King concluded her under-18 national championships with another strong performance as her draft prospects continue to rise, being named Eastern Allies' MVP in Queensland.
Representing the Eastern Allies alongside Blues team-mate Camilla Taylor, King's side was dealt a crushing blow by Victoria Metro, held goal-less throughout the game in their 11.9 (75) to 0.3 (3) loss at Bond University on the Gold Coast.

Aligned with North Melbourne's AFLW side through their Tasmanian partnership, King captained the two previous Eastern Allies encounters and has shown her skills at the championships, producing performances worthy of best player nominations in all three clashes.
The demoralising 72-point loss marks the end of the Allies' campaign which harboured a four-point win over the Central Allies on Gold Coast Suns' Metricon Stadium and a competitive five-goal defeat at the hands of Victoria Country.
King's 2019 football season has been a busy one, representing both Tasmania and the Allies throughout the championships, as well as guiding Scotch Oakburn to the NSATIS premiership against Marist before missing the statewide premiership with representative duties.
