Around the State League fixture against Clarence on Saturday, June 29, Windsor Park will host a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1969 NTFA Premiership.
In conjunction, the club will also celebrate the 1979 NTFA under-19 and 2009 State League reserve premierships and would like past players, officials, committee members and supporters to attend and help celebrate its history.
Anyone with queries can contact sponsorship director Malcolm Atkins (0418 142456) or historian Darrin Geard (0459 273424).
The 1969 side saw captain-coach Bob Withers take the Blues to their first flag since 1951 with a 44-point win over East Launceston. Tony West kicked eight goals.
This 1979 success represented the club's first under-19 premiership, coached by Dick Woodard, while the 2009 flag was achieved in the first year of the re-launched Tasmanian State League.
