Lambie said the signs have already been replaced.
"It takes more than a rogue sharpie to slow us down," she said.
"A volunteer already went out and already replaced them. We're are a tight unit."
At least three signs were defaced with derogatory remarks.
The Examiner has chosen not to publish photos of the signs due to potential defamation.
"It's obviously not what we want to see, with the reaction we've received around the state we won't let stuff like this bother us," Ms Lambie said.
"We'll keep getting out there, meeting people, listening and campaigning with our boots on."
Ms Lambie said there was some cost involved with the defacing, but her campaign is not about money.
"When a corflute goes in the bin it obviously costs us, but our campaign has never been about money, it's been about hard work. And we have plenty more hard work left in us," she said.
