A an area of bushland in Chigwell has been declared a crime scene, as Tasmania Police conduct an investigation into an amount of stolen property.

Police, including forensic investigators, remained at the scene in the state's South on Monday morning.
The stolen property relates to burglary, stealing and motor vehicle stealing, police say.
The recovered property includes a white Nissan Patrol, which was stolen from an address in Berridale on April 27, and a John Deer ATV stolen from a business in Montrose on April 18.
