Last week, the government revised its capped 2 per cent wage increase to offer unions an increase up to 2.5 per cent over three years as part of a new deal if certain efficiency conditions are met, allowing the government to maintain budget sustainability.
Community and Public Sector Union secretary Tom Lynch said all unions will be following a similar time frame to be in a position to provide a response to the premier's revised bargain.
Australian Nursery and Midwifery Federation secretary Andrew Brakey said the unions are still running through finer points of the yet incomplete offer with government before returning with a counter-offer later in the week.
