The award categories are Standout Food Ambassador, Social Media Hero, First-Class Volunteer, Service Wizard, Most Dynamic Newbie, Event Organiser Extraordinaire and Trailblazing Innovator.
Tourism Northern Tasmania chief executive Chris Griffin said the awards program was a very special way of recognising and celebrating people in the tourism industry who create the visitor experience the North was famous for.
“These are people who all too often go unrecognised for their remarkable efforts,” he said.
Cathryn Cocker from Low Head Beach House was awarded the Social Media Hero award in 2017.
“To be recognised by my industry peers as worthy of such an award was an honour, but also confirmation that I am on the right track in achieving business excellence in the promotion of Low Head Beach House,” she said.

Nominations close at 5pm on October 31.
