Taken by emerging and established photographers, the 26 images will be on display at the Launceston LINC from October 3-24.
New Horizons Club portrait coordinator said the Picture Us All exhibition painted a positive picture of people living with disability.
“People with disability have so often in their lives experienced the paradox of perhaps both feeling invisible, as well as an object of unwelcome attention,” she said.
She said the experience was exhilarating for the subjects.
Launceston City Council funded the project as part of their Community Grants Program, with the photographs launched on Monday night at Sawtooth ARI.
Prizes were handed out for the best photographs, judged by Launceston photographers Philip Kuravita and Patrick Sutczak.
First prize winner Alia Coates said she engaged with 18-year-old Brodie Leslie by understanding his passion for sport.
