After flash flooding hit the area nearly a fortnight ago, Launceston City Council was forced to close the pool over concern for rising water levels.
The water had to be drained and the pool cleaned before being refilled in accordance to stage one water restrictions.
Council were on Tuesday just waiting for approval from TasWater and would notify the public should any changes arise.
