In the past 24 hours, new cases in Tasmania dropped from 1139 to 824, while total active cases also declined by 623 to 6485.

Hospital cases saw little change with the Department of Health confirming 22 COVID cases were still being cared for in hospital.
The department advised eight patients were being treated specifically for COVID symptoms, two less than yesterday, with the remaining 14 positive cases being treated for unrelated medical conditions.
People using COVID@home rose by 38 to 338, while the number of people in the state's three community case management facilities remained unchanged at 30.
Rapid antigen testing continues as the main form of diagnosing COVID-19 with 580 positive cases confirmed through RATs, and 245 through PCR testing.

The total number of lab tests processed fell slightly to 1980, as did the number of RATs handed out in the past 24 hours, falling from 9554 on Saturday to 4876 on Sunday.
