The alleged drunk driver, aged in her 70s, crashed at the intersection of Abbott and Arthur streets at 7.09pm yesterday, causing minor damage to the independent food store and cafe.
Police say a breath analysis returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.187 per cent.
As a result, they said the driver was immediately disqualified from driving for a period of 12 months and will be charged for high range drink driving.
The woman was uninjured, but taken to the Launceston General Hospital for medical assessment.
