The 27-year-old was charged on Monday, less than 48 hours after shots were fired at a Norwood home.
The occupants of the Boiton Hill Road property were home at the time, but were not physically injured.
He was the second person charged over the incident, with a 26-year-old Perth woman already appearing in the Launceston Magistrates Court in relation to the matter.
Georgia Rose Rossiter, 26, of Perth, did not enter a plea when she appeared on Monday and was remanded in custody.
She was charged with two counts of recklessly discharging a firearm and aggravated assault.
The man, who is expected to appear in court later tonight, has been charged with aggravated assault, recklessly discharging a firearm and breaching family violence orders.
Saturday night's incident came after at least 15 other gun-related crimes in the North already this year.
A firearms taskforce dedicated to tackling gun-crime across the region had so far charged 60 people with 266 individual offences.
