Launceston, you can now have your cake and eat it too.
In fact, that's the aim of the newest Cityprom campaign, Cakealicious.
One of those businesses taking part is Cake O'Clock, who have an earl grey chocolate cake on offer as their entry.
"Cake is the perfect antidote for a cold winter's day," said owner Owen Koh.
Among the entrants in this year's battle include St John Street's Launceston Country Women's Association, with a classic marble cake and Sabina's Petite Gateau, who have entered their carrot cake with salted caramel cream cheese and toasted pecans.
A full list of entrants, including the CWA and Sabina's Petite Gateau, is available on Cityprom's website - with people encouraged to vote for their favourite for the chance to win a high tea for them and five friends.
