Robyn Lee Brown, 49, also appeared for using abusive language to the female officer and a male officer.
A video link appearance on Tuesday was adjourned after Magistrate Sharon Cure cut the connection to the Launceston Reception Prison after Ms Brown embarked on a sustained stream of abuse.

However, the alleged spitting incident resulted in the court deciding to conduct the hearing via video link.
When asked if she was Robyn Brown she replied: "No I'm Santa Claus".
Defence counsel Mark Doyle told Ms Cure that it was indeed Ms Brown.
He said he could not conduct the hearing without Ms Brown being in court.
He said that Ms Brown was facing a new charge of assault for spitting into the face of a police officer from a distance of 30 centimetre.
"I'd do it again," Ms Brown told the court.
"That's why you are sitting there Ms Brown rather than in the court room," Ms Cure replied.
"I've had it up to here with this shit I want to go go home," Ms Brown yelled.
Ms Cure told the court she was at a loss as to how to manage Ms Brown who she perceived had severe mental health issues.
Mr Doyle agreed saying that Ms Brown's condition led her to escalate events because of an entrenched feeling of conspiracy.
"She claims to be a psychic and that she is in conversation with several high-profile deceased persons," he said.
"It's all delusional, it's very sad," Ms Cure said.
Ms Cure said that Ms Brown was noncompliant with treatment and would not accept any help.
The case was adjourned until July 7, 2021.
