Lilydale - 1st
Louis Venn has been a key part of the Demons' premiership defence, knocking up seven best-players honours ahead of Thane Bardenhagen's six.
Bardenhagen also plays second fiddle in the goal-scoring tally with both him and Billy Tuckerman (22 goals) trailing Sonny Whiting's 34 from five games.
Old Scotch - 2nd
Victorian recruit John McKenzie has starred in his return to Tasmanian football, with six showings in Scotch's best alongside captain Jonty Swallow.
The goalkicking has been led by Charlie Eastoe (18), with former Tasmanian Devil Will Harper not far behind with 16.
Old Launcestonians - 3rd
Ruckman Danny Hall has appeared in the Blues' best seven times in his nine games, eclipsing the likes of Matthew Spohn (six) and captain Cam Fraser (five).
Fraser has also played a strong hand in the goalkicking, booting 14, but Will Archer has been the leading man, going one better with 15.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT
East Coast - 4th
Cameron Upton has proved to be a valuable recruit for East Coast as the Swans, with six appearances in the side's best players, while perennial goalkicker Nick Child is the only one to kick double figures.
The dangerous forward has kicked 32 goals so far.
St Pats - 5th
The Saints' tilt at finals has been led by two former Hillwood players, with Nathan Barry and Jake King impressing in early days.
Barry has featured in the best seven times while King has booted 41 goals and is leading the division one competition.
Bridport - 6th
Six appearances for Nicholas Sutton sees him lead the Seagulls in best-player showings, while Matthew Taylor has been prolific in front of the big sticks.
Taylor's kicked 21 goals for the year, sitting in sixth position in the league's standings.
Perth - 7th
Recruits Ben Elmer and Jake Smith (both 11 goals) have chipped away at their totals this season, with no major hauls coming from the Magpies.
Young gun Blair McGillvery has set the tone for his side and is proving to be quite a strong seniors player, with eight best-player nominations.
Meander Valley - 8th
Kane Brugeaud has shone for the Suns in seven contests, with coach Damien Rhind leading the way in front of the big sticks.
The ruck-forward has kicked 11 goals for the season so far, the sole Sun with double figures.
Evandale - 9th
Coach Sam Bouwman may be sidelined at the moment but the explosive forward has led from the front in 2021, kicking 13 goals and appearing in the best players five times.
James Conroy has matched him with best-player honours, while Longford recruit Lachie Groves will pass him in the coming games in goals but Bouwman has been up and about early on.
UTAS - 10th
After starting the season with a five-game best-on-ground streak, Chris Smith has been eclipsed as UTAS' most-consistent performer with Daniel Bluett appearing in the best players eight times.
Smith and Liam Guardia have both been named seven times, while the Lions' leading goalkicker goes to bustling forward John Morgan, who has kicked eight goals.
