1. Record Day
June 12
Avenue Records is holding an event as part of the worldwide Record Store Day. The store will be open from 8am, but you better get there early if you want the hottest records on offer. A limited number of people will be allowed in the store at the same time due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, for those who miss the event, there will be another record drop on July 17.
2. Harvest Market
June 12, 8.30am-12.30pm
Every Saturday the tasty Harvest Market takes over the Cimitiere Street parking area to share fresh food and produce. Discover a wide range of vendors and local brands to support. Winter vegetables will particularly be on show this week as everyone gets ready for the chilly months.
3. Running Festival
June 13, 8.30am
The Launceston Running Festival is on again this weekend, with distances ranging from a half-marathon to the mile for those of all athletic abilities. Entries are open online until 3pm Saturday at launcestonrunningfestival.com.au.
4. Book Council
June 16, 1pm
The National Book Council of Tasmania will hold an event to celebrate the recent release of the book The Gatenby Saga. The Gatenby family have connections to the Pennyroyal Flour Mill and other historical parts of Tasmania. 5. Art festival
June 11-13
The Bay of Fires Winter Arts Festival will celebrate all things art this weekend at St Helens. Among several prizes to be won, there is plenty on offer to enjoy and take your family to see. 6. Stelo's Oscura
Sunday's from May-August, free to enter but tickets required
A secret Sunday night speakeasy will pop up in Launceston from May until August. A map will lead to a dimly-lit doorway for entry. Prohibition inspired cocktails, limited release Tasmanian wines, local brews and Stelo snacks will be on offer. Visit eventbrite to get tickets.

7. Devil's Corner
Everyday, 10am-4pm
Devil's Corner has opened a temporary pop-up cellar door while a new site expansion is underway. Known as The Little Devil, the pop-up will act as a temporary home for the brand's wines. There will be wine tastings, takeaway wine sales, and on-site food. Bookings for tastings can be made online at devilscorner.com.au.
