A man has been charged with numerous offences after a gun was allegedly fired into a Hadspen home on Saturday morning.

Police were called to a home on Kipling Crescent about 9am after receiving reports of a gun being fired, after a property related dispute.
The people involved in the dispute were known to each other and there was no threat to the public, police say.
As a result, detectives from the Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch conducted a search of a Newnham residence.

Here, a firearm, ammunition and drug- related paraphernalia were seized.
Police have since charged a 28-year-old Newnham man with numerous firearms related offences including recklessly discharging a firearm and possessing a firearm whilst not the holder of a firearms licence.
He is also facing minor drug related charges, police say.
The man was detained to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on March 7.
