The Scotch Oakburn College student led the results for a trio of Northern players at the tournament with Jake Elmer and Arwen Koesmapahlawan also making the journey across Bass Strait, with Elmer partnering him to doubles glory.
The pair took out the 16-and-under event in a doubles-only day on Friday after surviving a major scare in their first match-up.
Seeded one for the tournament, they came within two points of falling to Alex Kim and Ryan Nguyen but overcame them 6-7 6-4 10-8.

Their next two clashes, including the final, were much easier with 6-3 6-3 and 6-2 6-4 results crowning the pair champions.
Hadley completed his perfect tournament with a 6-0 6-4 win over second seed Nicholas Jovanovski on Sunday morning, having overcome a quarter-final three-set scare earlier in the week.
Elmer, the tournament's 13th seed, had his singles campaign cut short at the hands of Kim on Saturday, losing the quarter-final match-up 6-4 3-6 10-3.
Riverside High School student Koesmapahlawan found less success in her 16-and-under campaign but was still able to record a strong victory.
Drawing the tournament's fourth seed in the opening round, the 16-year-old progressed to the consolation draw, defeating Megan Dyson 6-1 6-2 before falling to Kate Karanfilovski 0-6 7-5 10-8.
