South Launceston proved too much for Ulverstone at the NTCA Ground, with the home side's tenacious bowling leading to their fourth win in a row. Every South Launceston bowler would claim a wicket, with a greedy Sam Mclean taking 3-28.
Captain Sean Harris said it was a fairly complete performance in the field from the team.
"We tried to get them [Ulverstone] before the rain and we managed to pick up some bonus points as well," he said.
"Our slow-bowlers and spinners have been carrying the bowling for the season ... but to have an opening bowler like Andrew [Nichols, 1-18] come in - first game - and bowl really tight was really pleasing."

Batsman Nathan Phillip took care of things for South on the other side of the innings, scoring 62 off 38 balls including 10 fours and two sixes.
"He really guided us to victory again," Harris said.
"He's averaging in the 80s this year and been a real rock for us at number five."
A brutal batting effort by Riverside steered them to a 40-run win against Latrobe.
Captain Tom Garwood (29), Peter New (30) and Aidan O'Connor (30) all made solid contributions.
But it was all-rounder Matthew Kerrison (54) who layered on Riverside's comfortable total of 230.
He also had success in his bowling, taking one wicket and allowing only 19 runs.
Co-bowlers James Simpson (3-24) and Ramesh Sundra (3-27) sent Latrobe packing.
Westbury showed no mercy against Sheffield on the latter's home pitch.
The visitors obliterated the home side's batting group, seeing them all-out for 88.

It was another Kerrison brother, this time Alex, who put on a clinic - he allowed a meagre two runs while claiming four wickets.
"That's unheard of," Westbury captain Dan Murfet said.
Murfet added that the team played well in holding Sheffield to a low total.
"It cleared things up and meant that we only needed one good partnership to win," he said.
And get that Westbury did, with opening batsmen Jess Digney (37) and Joseph Griffin (27) cutting out a chunk of Sheffield's total early on.
Murfet and Chathura sprinkled the icing on the cake, leading to an eight-wicket win for Westbury.
Launceston's hardy performance against Wynyard proved for nought, with the match being rained out in the middle of Wynyard's innings.
This wasn't before Launceston's Cameron Lynch posted himself a century.
Mowbray's match against Burnie was also abandoned due to the weather.
Results:
- Riverside 7-230 def Latrobe 9-190 by 40 runs.
- South Launceston 5-114 def Ulverstone 113 by five wickets.
- Sheffield 88 def by Westbury 2-92 by eight wickets.
- Mowbray drew with Burnie.
- Launceston drew with Wynyard.
