Opener Jackson Blair (56) steered his team to a competitive total of 9-182.
But Trevallyn chased it down in the 33rd over to the delight of coach James Whiteley who led the way at the top of the order with 88 but fell just short of the victory total.
"It was a very good win and really consistent cricket," he said.
"Very proud. Longford have been a quality side for a decade and are still a class outfit but we took our opportunities and watching a young team do that suggests good signs for the future."

Daniel Kirk added 45 coming in at four.
The other undefeated record stayed intact as second-placed HADSPEN cruised past sixth-placed LEGANA.
Batting first, the Durhams produced a remarkable scorecard as Michael Dunn compiled his highest score of the season and nearly half his side's total.
The opener hit a run-a-ball 46 as none of his teammates reached double figures in a score of 94 all out.
Deepak Singh (4-25) did most of the damage although Shahid Ahmed (3-14) and Beau Hills (2-15) also returned tidy figures.
The Chieftains' openers didn't hang about with the chase, Thanuka Dabare smashing 17 off just eight deliveries and Dane Anderson adding 53 off 30 including four fours and as many sixes.
Captain Liam Reynolds also hit a boundary off the only ball he faced to see his side to a seven-wicket win inside 12 overs.
ACL bowler Cameron Martin returned the phenomenal figures of 8-23 as his team walloped PERTH by 133 runs.
Nearly doubling his season's wicket tally for the season, Martin's haul came off 6.4 overs as the fourth-versus-fifth clash at University Oval was dominated by the home side.
Batting first, ACL made a competitive total of 7-181, Shaun Woods top scoring with 64 and Nashib Nisthar chipping in with 26. Matthew Rigby (2-26) and Haider Raza (2-31) led the bowling stats.
In reply, Perth had no answer to Martin's brilliance, Matthew Lawrence the lone resistance with an unbeaten 17 at first drop.
An excellent batting performance helped EVANDALE beat BRACKNELL in the battle of the bottom two at Morven Park.
Jonty Manktelow (59), Rickie Wells (a run-a-ball 46), Dasun Hettiarachchi (a quickfire 33 not out) and Jakob LeFevre (22) led the charge as the Panthers posted 6-208 despite the best efforts of Dylan Semmens (4-31 off seven).
Bradley Fryett responded with 42 at the top of the order for Bracknell and Matthew Hayward made a patient 27 not out but six ducks didn't help as the team was bowled out for 113 in the 33rd over.
Seventh-placed George Town had the bye.
