A Launceston couple were walking around over $100,000 richer for four days without knowing after their numbers were called in lotto's Super 66 draw on Saturday.

The couple purchased the ticket from Meadow Mews News & Lotto in Kings Meadows but did not learn of their luck until Wednesday.
The winners, who chose to remain anonymous, said it was high time one of their tickets was a winner.

"We've played Super 66 ever since it started. It's about bloody time! It couldn't have happened to two nicer people," the man said.
"I've got a bottle of scotch here that we got for Christmas that's got a little bit left in it. It's top-shelf stuff that's 22 years old. We were saving it for a special occasion, but now we've got this."
The couple is retired and now have a slush fund they plan to use to travel around.
Meadow Mews News & Lotto owner Viv Dobley said her news agent lotto sense was tingling and she thought the shop was due for a winner.
"The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in May 2019. That was the second division one winning entry we sold in two weeks. Hopefully, it happens again this time!" she said.
"This is our 23rd division one winning entry across our two outlets over the past 30 years."
The Examiner reported that Kings Meadows was a hot spot for division one winners after there were six winners between 2011 and May 2019.
