Police are seeking assistance from the public after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Exeter on Wednesday.

Police said a woman was struck by a white Toyota Camry sedan as it was making a U-turn outside the post office on Main road at about 11:40 am.
"The pedestrian was knocked onto the bonnet of the car before falling off as the driver reportedly failed to stop and drove away from the scene," they said.
"The woman did not suffer serious injuries."
