There will be winners on and off the turf at Mowbray Racecourse on Wednesday, with many a punter trying their hand at being declared most fabulous in The Examiner's Fashions on the Field.

The annual competition will pit fashionistas in both women's and men's wares against one another, with two lucky winners being declared overall.
Former judge and 2020 fashions emcee Chelsea Freestone said she was looking forward to seeing what both the ladies and men dressed in for the cup.
"As far as Fashions on the Field goes, we're looking at the style and originality for the day," she said.
Ms Freestone said in terms of fashion, the Launceston Cup was a much classier event compared to other, less formal cups such as the Longford Cup.

"We like to see something different, but a bit original ... something that's suitable for the day, the weather and especially the races," she said.
"Take a risk, but make sure that you're suitable for the day."
For Tasmanian Turf Club's Sorayah Woods, a good fascinator was the key to completing the outfit.
"It's the cherry on top of your outfit so make sure that it compliments your outfit and is very original and out-there," she said.
Modelling academy owner Sue Rees said for women's fashion a classic, ladylike and elegant style will generally win every time.
For men's fashion, a good quality suit is paramount Ms Rees said, however accessories were key to bringing a suit to life.

The women's and men's winners will receive trips for two to Singapore and Bangkok, respectively.
