Tasmania Fire Service crews first attended fires at Fingal, Mangana Road and Tower Hill about 3pm on Monday.
Emergency warnings were issued for the fires about 6.40pm, which were later downgraded to a watch and act.
TFS state information officer Peter Middleton said on ABC Radio that predicted rains and moisture hopefully coming through the fire-affected areas would help firefighting efforts.
"The weather will certainly be much more favourable over the coming days if we compare it to today [Monday]."
Officer Middleton said it was likely that homes had been lost to the fires, however the TFS wouldn't be able to confirm how many until Tuesday when crews could better determine the extent of the fires.
As of Tuesday morning, watch and act alerts remain in place for Mangana and Tower Hill, as well as Royal George Rd and Nowhere Else for a fire first reported at Mangana Road, Fingal.
An advice message is in place for Fingal.
In the state's South, watch and act alerts remain in place for Elderslie and Broadmarsh, Pelham and surrounding areas, as well as Strathgordan, for a fire first reported in the Pearce Basin.
In a statement, the TFS said calmer conditions overnight had allowed crews to downgrade the fires.
Aircraft will be utilised on Tuesday morning, to assess whether lightning strikes overnight have caused further fires.
