Of the 74 submissions, 68 people submitted an identical submission and a further six unique submissions were received.
The 68 identical submissions requested the council withdraw the application based on seven issues on it limiting the use of the area to residents and urged to make the site available for free camping again.
Other submissions mentioned limitations to residents and day visitors to the site, flood risks, impacts on neighbouring properties and safety concerns for families using the reserve.
One submission objected to camping all together stating it would attract inappropriate behaviour and posed a risk and threat to Bracknell residents.
Council's consultant planner Heidi Goess said the site had a long history of camping but it had not been regulated.

"Increased visitation to the site by long term campers has given rise to conflict with adjoining property owners," she said.
"The application seeks to regulate and restrict the level of camping on the site with the intention of enhancing the amenity of the land for passive recreation, limiting the area set aside for visitor accommodation.
"The rules imposed on overnight visitors will also ensure that the use is conducted in an orderly manner and provide a better balance between the competing demand of the use of the reserve by local residents, day and overnight visitors."
The proposal will restrict overnight stays to self-contained vehicles, within a defined area of the site, with a maximum capacity of 10 vehicles and a maximum period of stay of up to four nights.
The council will inspect the number of RVs at the site twice a week and the Bracknell Roadhouse management will issue permits, at a cost of $3 per night.
The application has been recommended for approval but the council will decide to approve or deny the application at its meeting on Tuesday night.
