The event is part of Mental Health Week, and will be held at the Scottsdale Magpies Football Clubroom on Friday, October 12 from 6.30pm.
Network chairwoman Cheryl McCartie said services who could help in times of mental distress would be attending.
“People can see their faces and have an informal conversation,” she said. “People are more comfortable approaching somebody if they know who they are and have talked to them before.”
Money raised will go towards producing a detailed Dorset-specific brochure on mental health services.
“It’s an opportunity for people to come out and have a fun night, but also learn a little but about mental health and take home some resources that might be helpful,” said Ms McCartie.
Individuals are welcome and will be put in teams on the night.
