The Tasmanian government grant will allow four courts at the FJ White Centre at Hoblers Bridge to be resurfaced.
NTNA chairwoman Michelle Cooley said she was thrilled to receive the grant.
“For the players, it will be a major safety upgrade. It will mean that we can utilise those facilities so much more during the season,” she said.
Treasurer Peter Gutwein said more than 1700 people use the facility.
“At the end of the day I have a family at home who plays, and it’s fantastic to see the thousands of young people who go through this centre,” he said.
The works will start on Monday and are expected to be completed by mid-March in time for the netball season.
