Council groups, peak agencies, chambers of commerce, state government and anyone involved in regional and economic development is expected to attend the event that is organised by Northern Tasmania Development Corporation.
NTDC’s chief executive Maree Tetlow said the idea of clusters have been around for decades.
“It really is just a group of businesses that have a need to, or an advantage in them working together,” she said.
“Clusters require people and businesses to actually understand that there is some benefit to actually sharing and working together in some instances.”
She said holding the event would identify opportunities to collaborate.
Cluster Navigators chief executive Lfor Ffowcs-Williams will attend the event.
He will address various industry-based workshops through food, forestry and health sectors in the North and North-West of Tasmania.
