Wayne Charles King, 47, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The court heard King was walking down the street when he pulled down his tracksuit pants and exposed his backside to a police officer and nearby children at St Marys on April 21 this year.
His defence lawyer said he was “distressed” when police approached him and told him of his offending.
He said King met with his doctor after the incident and discovered the skin condition.
He has since been prescribed lotion to treat it.
Describing him as a “family man”, King’s lawyer said the father-of-two was “mortified” that he ended up in court on such an “embarrassing charge”.
The court heard King had no prior matters and was a full-time carer for his wife and two young children.
Magistrate Simon Brown dismissed the charge and King avoided a conviction.
His only penalty was that he pay $65.10 in court costs.
