Photographers Phillip Biggs and Scott Gelston have scoured through more than 380 Tasmania in Focus entries to create a Top 30 shortlist.
Biggs and Gelston will select the quarterly winner, but The Examiner is giving readers the chance to vote for their favourite.
The image that receives the most reader votes will be awarded the Tasmania in Focus winter People’s Choice award for 2017.
Quarterly winners will be announced on September 1, 2017.
A spring edition of the photo competition will launch on September 1.
People will have until November 5 to submit their spring-themed photos.
Reminder: the competition is not restricted to landscape images.
Biggs and Gelston shared some words of wisdom for snapping photos in the cooler months.
