Stocked with lots of homemade crafts, as soon as you enter you will be immersed into a sensory wonderland, from the beautifully candles made by Soy Plus, to gorgeous handmade dolls, jewellery and so much more.
Wood making members, create the most unique, pens, bowls and a few odd pieces, all made with Tasmanian or Australian wood.
Knitters and crocheters offer blankets, children and baby clothes as well as animals, hats,scarfs and socks both made from hand spun wool and alpaca wool.
The store also has hand spun and dyed wools available for you to at home and make your own wonderful crafts.
One of their biggest sellers are the Golliwogs, which comes with a bookmark that tells the true story of how the Golliwog came about, it is very endearing.
An non profit organization, the store is fully run by volunteers and are always on the lookout for anyone who would like to help whether it is once a week,once a fortnight or even once a month.
They hope to entice new members with a craft which they don’t have in the shop who are as dedicated as current members to a high quality product.
Their members are all locals in the North of Tassie who love to do what they do, with ages ranging from 40 to 80 who make their craft at home or in the shed out the back with Tassie/Australian products.
