Melbourne mother-of-three Cath Baker said the blog had been designed not a personal diary but as a resource for others living with the disease.
“The initial reason I started was because I wanted to be able to give myself a project but also there's so many things once you get diagnosed that you need to be across, and it seems like it takes forever to get all the information in one spot,” Mrs Baker said.
“What I've found is that I'm constantly getting bits and pieces from other people, some that I've sourced myself, some from organisations and I've just found it's a fair bit of navigating.
“It's more to do with how I can be of help to other people newly-diagnosed as a point of reference.”
Mrs Baker was diagnosed with MND in March last year, having spent three years caring for good friend and Tasmanian MND patient Angie Cunningham.
