Jazz extraordinaire and all-round entertainer James Morrison will play at Festivale, chairman Lou Clark announced on Wednesday.

On February 12, Morrison will delight Launcestonians with his musical talent at City Park.
“James will bring his band and amazing repertoire to perform in Launceston’s beautiful City Park on Sunday afternoon,” Ms Clark said.
“This will be an unforgettable performance, one definitely not to be missed.”
Morrison’s career spans three decades, with huge success across a number of albums.
He has been nominated for seven ARIA Awards.
Morrison was inducted into the Australian Jazz Hall of Fame in 2013.
From gospel to big band electronic fusion, Morrison has continued to impress his fans.
In 2016, Morrison’s disc In Good Company charted simultaneously in both the ARIA Jazz and Popular Album Charts, remaining number one in the Jazz charts for more than 20 weeks.
Festivale is on at City Park from 5.30pm to 10.45pm on February 10, 11am to 11pm on February 11 and 10am to 4pm on February 12.
