Co-organiser Carl Britton, of West Launceston, said that as anything associated with motorcycles would be welcomed, either for show or sale, they decided to call the event by the self-explanatory name, Everything Motorcycles Swap Meet.
"Not only will there be dozens of bikes competing in the show and shine competition and plenty of stalls selling motorcycle parts and memorabilia, there will be live music from 11am, courtesy of the hard- rocking and blues band Guthrie," Mr Britton said.
"This is a not-for-profit community event and we've been able to keep the costs right down because the band is playing for nothing and Archers Manor licensee Allan Roark, himself a keen motorcyclist, is providing the space for us.
"The only cost is $10 for stalls and gold-coin entry to the show and shine to cover the cost of the hand-made trophies.
"There'll be trophies for a variety of categories and we're aiming to mix it up a bit by staying away from just the traditional categories and offering alternative, quirky options."
Anyone interested in running a stall is welcome to turn up at Archers Manor to set up by 9am or call Mr Britton on 0408590580 for more information.
Archers Manors' cafe and bar will operate all day.
