Labor looks to have fallen short of having a third member elected in Lyons following the distribution of Rebecca White's surplus votes on Wednesday which means a Jacqui Lambie Network candidate is more likely to win the electorate's seventh seat.

Just which candidate that will be is unknown for now with 383 votes separating Andrew Jenner, who leads with 2302 votes, and Troy Pfitzner.
Deputy Premier Michael Ferguson, outgoing Labor leader Rebecca White and Greens leader Rosalie Woodruff achieved a quota based on their primary votes earlier this week and Premier Jeremy Rockliff won two quotas.
The redistribution of his excess votes saw Felix Ellis elected to parliament for the first time in his own right, having twice been elected on a recount.
Preference redistributions will eventually result in the re-election of Roger Jaensch, but numbers indicate the party would struggle to elect a fourth Liberal in Braddon.
Contenders for the six and seventh seats during the afternoon were:
- Liberal candidate Giovanna Simpson on 2782 votes;
- Liberal candidate Vonette Mead on 2552 votes;
- independent candidate Craig Garland on 3814 votes;
- JLN candidate Miriam Beswick on 3032 votes;
- and JLN candidate James Redgrave, on 2856 votes.
In Franklin, results from the count at this stage indicate incumbent Nic Street will be re-elected in the electorate's third seat for the Liberal party and the electorate's last seat.
Numbers indicate that the second seat for Labor will go to newcomer Meg Brown, who leads fellow candidate Toby Thorpe.
The seventh seat in Bass looks like it will be won by the Jacqui Lambie Network, and mostly likely candidate Rebekah Pentland.
