UK-based Deliveroo has finally made it to Launceston, arriving perhaps a little late to a city already crowded with ordering apps.
Dave's Noodles in Morty's Food Hall is one of the city's eateries that is already signed up to the app. Franchisee Jie Lin said other apps like Uber Eats and Menulog helped his business and other businesses weather a difficult past 18 months.

"The food hall was shut down for almost two months, but we're doing OK because Uber Eats had just started. Now it's even better than before," he said.
Dave's Noodles can already be ordered with Uber Eats and competing app Easi - which specialises in Asian food delivery - but Mr Lei said he joined Deliveroo anyway as new apps help eateries break into new customer bases.
