The show, which will feature students from grades seven to 12, will be held at the Princess Theatre in May next year. Director Ross Marsden was excited to be part of what he described as a unique production.
"This is the first time the school has had their production be held at the Princess Theatre and that's something I'm proud to be a part of," Marsden said.
"This will be my first time directing a college production, so I'm hopeful it will be a wonderful experience for myself and everyone involved."
Marsden said choosing Cats meant a chance for each performer to shine.

"There are lots of iconic songs in Cats which the audience is sure to enjoy, but it also means that each performer will be able to create their own unique cat persona and style."
Auditions for the Grammar musical will start in early December.
