The Greater Northern Raiders have locked in their leadership structures ahead of the cricket season getting underway later this year.
Oliver Wood returns as captain for the Raiders' men's side after an impressive stint in charge last season.
Wood will be supported by Jon Chapman and Charlie Eastoe, who were named as his deputies.
On the women's side, Tasmanian representative Sasha Moloney has been appointed skipper as the Raiders aim to contend for silverware this season.
The former Hobart Hurricanes captain will be assisted by deputies Caitlyn Webster and Sophie Parkin.
Moloney joined the side in 2020 and has gone on to become an integral part, especially as a sounding board for their up-and-coming players.
To have the opportunity to do it again is a pretty cool honour
- Oliver Wood on the Raiders captaincy.
Wood has been part of the Raiders outfit since their inception in 2018-19.
Wood said he had learnt a lot about the captaincy role last season as he gears up for another summer.
"It was really good news, I am a big believer in the program, it's really important to Northern cricket so to have the opportunity to do it again is a pretty cool honour," he said.
"I think the thing I've probably learnt is that it's important to lean on others and other leaders within the team."
With pre-season preparations well underway, Wood said he was excited for what the team could achieve this season.
"I think we're shaping up really well, I think when Tim [Coyle] came on board last year and we had discussions about the group and the program, this year compared to last year is really good," he said. "The group has enormous potential and last year we showed throughout the whole year that we've more than got the ability to compete."
