However, a Health Department spokesperson said no new cases had been reported on Saturday.
Rehabilitation ward 3R and surgical ward 5B remain quarantined after some patients and staff experienced gastro-like symptoms.
The spokesperson said the closures were taken as a precautionary measure because of a suspected gastroenteritis outbreak.
The latest closure happened on Friday, with a staff member and four patients are among the latest cases.
Earlier in the week, nine potential cases of gastro were being investigated.
Based on infection control guidelines, wards need to be symptom-free for 48 hours before they can be considered for re-opening to new patients and visitors.
The spokesperson said the situation was being constantly reviewed.
