Launceston and South Launceston both started out in the North-West league before the arrival of Riverside and Mowbray birthed the four-team Cricket North competition in 2014-15.
Since that first season, which was won by Riverside, South Launceston has dominated by winning all six Cricket North and Greater Northern Cup flags.
Mowbray has finished bottom every season bar 2018-19, when it finished third, and regularly struggled for numbers in a winless campaign last season.
The Eagles also forfeited all four games against South Launceston, who have dropped just two league games in the past six seasons - a six-run loss to Riverside in 2019-20 and a one-run loss to Launceston in 2018-19.

Cricket Tasmania developed a female cricket strategy with Cricket North last year, which had a heavy focus on developing local competition.
Despite some speculation surrounding a merged competition between the North and North-West clubs - who already meet in the Greater Northern Cup each season - it appears unlikely Cricket Tasmania will recommend such a change in the near future.
It is believed the increased travel required by a season-long Greater Northern competition would put further strain on clubs struggling to attract players.
Dates for the new Cricket North season, which typically begins mid-October, will be released later this year.
