A return to Launceston helped North Melbourne snap a two-game losing streak and jump back into the AFLW's top six.
Playing at UTAS Stadium for the third consecutive February, the Kangaroos made it three from three with an entertaining 9.5 (59) to 6.1 (37) win over fellow mid-tabler Carlton.
Starting with a bang as Kate Gillespie-Jones and Jasmine Garner goaled in the opening two minutes, the Roos found themselves behind at the main break before running away with the game in the final term.
North Melbourne's two Launceston young guns - Daria Bannister and Mia King - both enjoyed solid showings and finished the night with a goal each.
Bannister had the crowd roaring 20 seconds into the opening term, plucking down a strong contested mark before narrowly missing a tough set shot.
