Brought into the 14-player squad for Friday's WNCL match against Western Australia, Radford had the news confirmed by female pathway coach Sara McGlashan with head coach Salliann Beams also calling.
The South Launceston 20-year-old was ultimately not selected in the final XI, downplaying the importance of her selection.

"I'm feeling like it is not that big of a deal," she said.
"It was exciting and was a great experience to go down and run drinks as 13th but I think the Tigers just had lots of injuries and they needed another body.
"I don't feel like it will ever happen again at the moment. I just came home after the match Friday and there was certainly no mention of anything else."
Since the Raiders' 2019-20 inception to the Cricket Tasmania Premier League's female competition, Radford has scored 294 runs at 15.64 and taken 25 wickets at 21.6.
If selected, Radford would have been the first "Raiders-grown" Tasmanian player.
