The former Millers clothing store is set for a facelift, with a hair and beauty salon and attached cafe proposed for the vacant shopfront at 104 Charles St.
A development application before the City of Launceston proposes a 7 seat hair salon, with rooms for eye treatments and specialist injectables.
The coffee shop will serve a minimum number of people, with a takeaway hatch at the front for passersby.
The application is available for public comment on the council's website until February 22.
